The Pipes and Drums took to the road again today to visit other sites associated with or commemorating General Gordon as part of our 140th Anniversary Commemorative Tour. Our first stop was at Rochester Cathedral where there is a stained glass window of commemorating General Gordon. Rochester Cathedral became the mother Church of the Royal Engineers back and as a consequence, there are a lot of memorials of Royal Engineers.
